LAYFLAT ADHESIVE BINDING

THE E & M LAYFLAT ADHESIVE BINDING ADVANTAGE:

Convenient. Flexible Binding.

Certain books are simply more convenient to use when they can lie flat. Cookbooks, computer manuals, and similar products are all great candidates for layflat binding.

Making use of a detached cover and special glues, layflat allows books to stay open at a desired place. When standard perfect binding isn't flexible enough and mechanical binding is out of your price range, consider layflat binding.

Notch Perfect Binding

Lays Flat. Stronger Adhesion

Need your books to lie flat? Working with a challenging stock? Budget won't allow for mechanical binding? If you answered "yes" to any of these three questions (and especially if you answered "yes" to all three), notch or layflat perfect binding may be your answer.

Notch perfect binding is a process in which "notches" are removed from the spine of signatures, resulting in stronger adhesion.
